How I disputed a fine and won a hearing

After a vague landscaping citation with a 14-day cure period, I requested a hearing in writing and cited the governing document's own notice provision. I brought dated photos and the association's inconsistent enforcement on neighboring lots, framed entirely around the board's process rather than any individual. The fine was reversed. The lesson: keep everything in writing, ask for the rule and the hearing, and stay at the entity level.
