Miss. Code Ann. § 89-9-37

Such action for partition by sale shall be brought in the chancery court of that county in which the project or some part thereof is situated, subject to the provisions for partition of lands by sale, as far as applicable, and the court shall have power to make all such orders as may be necessary to protect the rights of parties, and any sale ordered in such cases shall be made and reported as in the case of the sale of land; and decrees making partition shall vest title according to their terms. In such cases the court or chancellor may make all orders, and cause to be issued all process necessary to secure the rights of parties. Codes, 1942, § 896-19; Laws, 1964, ch. 270, § 19.
